The DSP Wireless Inc. CTL44B v2.1 App is a User Interface control for the Bose ControlSpace group of Commercial Audio products. CTL44B is only useful to configure and control a Bose ESP or PM8500N based commercial audio installation. CTL44B v2.1 is not a control for Bose consumer equipment. CTL44B will require setup and configuration. This is done using the Bose ControlSpace installation program. CSD is available at pro.bose.com CTL44B v2.1 has been tested with CSD v4.4. Other CSD versions may work ok however they are not supported. The CTL44B v2.1 App will behave in a manner similar to the ConstrolSpace CC-64 Controler. CTL44B v2.1 is configured by creating a CC-64 control in CSD and giving it the IP number that is assigned to your iOS device. With the CTL44B v2 App open on your iOS device, Up-Load the new design. The CTL 44B will then behave as a wireless version of your wired-in CC-64. You may want to use static IP numbers on your iOS device to reduce changes to the ControlSpace configuration. Settings menu contains: Background Color - white, light gray, gray, dark gray. Status Update Rate - heartbeat to check that device is still in range. Message Timeout Rate - increase if network latency is high. Show IP number - adds IP number to display. Show Status message - adds status do display. Backlight enable - Enable CSD controlled screen dim. Volume control enable - Enables volume and mute buttons. To use the CTL44B v2.1 your Bose ESP or PM8500N must be connected to an Ethernet network that is WiFi enabled. The CTL44B v2 connects to your Bose ControlSpace audio device via WiFi. If you do not have WiFi connected to your audio device Ethernet network, the CTL44B v2.1 will not function. Once your iOS device has an IP number that is on the local ControlSpace network, you can scan for the CTL44B v2.1 using CSD. The DSP Wireless CTL44B v2.1 is a Universal iPhone / iPad App. It has been tested on iPhone 4s , iPod Itouch 5th generation, iPad2, iPad Mini and iPad Air. CTL 44B v2.1 requires iOS 7 and above.
